Originally trained as a neuroscientist studying Autism Spectrum Disorders and Neuroinflammatory conditions.

 

I have broad training in Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatry since 2008. 

​

My experience includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, addiction and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).


I employ a comprehensive approach integrating psychiatry, psychology, medicine, genetics, exercise and nutrition with a focus, not just on health, but also on wellness and an optimized life-style.

Public Outreach Depression Screening (PODS), August 2003-August 2005: Tulane University, Health Sciences Center, 1430 Tulane Avenue New Orleans, LA 70112-2699, USA. Actual position: Volunteer. This position involved the administration and scoring of a depression screening tool and discussions with primary care providers regarding specific answers and treatments in patients seen at inner city community clinics in the New Orleans, LA area.

Bridge House Medical Clinic, August 2003-August 2005: Tulane University, Health Sciences Center, 1430 Tulane Avenue New Orleans, LA 70112-2699, USA. Actual position: Volunteer. At Bridge House Medical Clinic, student and faculty volunteers administered primary care to residents of Bridge House a “halfway house” for patients undergoing drug and occupational rehabilitation.
